Butterflies, with their particular shape that recalls precisely that of the animal, are one of children's favorite pasta formats. Their original shape allows them to be soft outside and crunchy in the middle. Their origin is very ancient, it would seem that they were born in the sixteenth century between Lombardy and Emilia Romagna. IRIS semola butterflies, are prepared with a mixture of grains from our Italian agricultural supply chain; this mixture allows our pasta to perfectly hold the cooking.
